Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Travel)

Scranton, PA | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

• Perform EKG monitoring, IV insertion, and medication administration for a medical surgical/telemetry patient population
• Conduct Foley catheter insertion, vital signs monitoring, and thorough assessment documentation
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed
• Perform point-of-care testing, including blood glucose monitoring
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 within a 30-bed unit using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units in accordance with facility requirements as needed

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for the state of Pennsylvania
• 1–2+ years of Medical Surgical experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Telemetry and EKG interpretation experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in a medical surgical setting

• Projected start date of November 2026 allows time to plan your next travel assignment with confidence
• Work in a structured medical surgical/telemetry environment with a defined scope of practice and consistent shift hours
