Snow Shoveler​/Plow Driver

Job Description

Snow Shovelers / Sidewalk Crew Members/ Plow Truck drivers needed for the upcoming 2026–2027 winter season.

This is an on-call seasonal position. Snow and ice events can occur at any time, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be dependable and prepared to report when called.

Responsibilities

• Shovel and clear sidewalks, entrances, steps, loading areas, and other pedestrian areas
• Operate snow blowers and other small snow-removal equipment
• Apply bagged ice melt and deicing materials
• Maintain sidewalks and pedestrian areas throughout snow events
• Perform follow-up and refreeze treatments when required
• Work safely around trucks, skid steers, loaders, and other snow-removal equipment
• Follow directions from site supervisors and equipment operators
• Remain on site for the duration of assigned snow operations when required

Requirements

• Must be dependable and able to report when called
• Must be available for snow events during days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work outdoors in cold, snow, wind, and freezing conditions
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to the designated reporting location is required
• Previous snow-removal experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate a snow blower is a plus
• Previous snow plow experience required for plow truck drivers

Schedule

This is a seasonal, on-call snow position. Hours are weather dependent and are not guaranteed.

Snow events may require extended shifts, and applicants should expect to work until assigned properties are safely serviced.

Compensation

$15.00 + per hour.
