Accounts and Audit Senior

Accounts and Audit Senior role based in Scunthorpe at a Chartered Accountants firm. The position offers flexible working and a company pension.

Working closely with the wider team, you will manage a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments under supervision, ensuring high quality delivery across a variety of clients and sectors.

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their development
• Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax computations and supporting the wider tax team where required
• Liaising directly with clients, building strong working relationships and acting as a key point of contact

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or part‑qualified and actively studying
• Previous experience working within a UK practice environment
• Proven experience in both audit and accounts preparation to a high standard
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships effectively
• A proactive, motivated approach with a desire to progress within a growing practice
