- Up to £37,000 We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international manufacturing business with a strong presence across the UK and Europe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a busy site-based finance team.
This role will take control of the management accounting for the 2 sites, delivering accurate analytical reporting and supporting operational decision-making through effective business partnering. You will be responsible for producing reliable financial information, maintaining strong balance sheet control and driving improvements across financial processes.

- Preparing accurate and timely month-end accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all variances are investigated
- Partnering with central finance teams to analyse performance and provide meaningful financial insights
- Producing regular reporting packs to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Delivering weekly reporting requirements, including working capital and inventory reporting
- Maintaining and developing strong financial controls and compliance
- Develop detailed margin analysis, and partner the operational teams to drive efficiencies
- Prepare weekly sales reporting
- Actively studying early to mid stages CIMA or ACCA
- Strong management accounts experience, ideally in manufacturing
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
