North Lincolnshire Council's Adult Education and Community Learning (AECL) Service is looking for a proactive and motivated MIS and Funding Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the management of learner data, funding compliance and financial administration within a service that helps learners to develop skills, gain qualifications and access employment opportunities.

As MIS and Funding Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative, management information systems (MIS) and financial support to the AECL Service. You will ensure that learner data, funding claims and financial records are accurate, compliant and submitted on time, supporting the successful delivery of Adult Skills Fund and other programme funding.

Working closely with the Finance and MIS Officer, you will:

  • Support the management and validation of learner data and Individualised Learner Record (ILR) submissions.
  • Assist with procurement processes, purchase orders, invoice processing and financial reconciliations.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, funding streams and expenditure.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support, including preparing reports and taking minutes at leadership meetings.

We are seeking someone who has:

  • Experience of office administration, data management and record keeping.
  • Experience of budget monitoring, expenditure tracking and funding administration.
  • Experience of working with management information systems and data reporting.

You will ideally be qualified or part-qualified in AAT (or have equivalent relevant experience) and hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, together with a Level 2 ICT qualification or above.
