Vehicle Technician

We are representing a reputable dealership in Newcastle that is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. The Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive salary, ongoing manufacturer training, and clear progression pathways. What on offer? A basic salary of up to £43,000, with an achievable OTE of up to £52,480 (uncapped) Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings Ongoing manufacturer accredited training, including Hybrid & Electric vehicle qualifications Supportive management team committed to your professional development Opportunities for career progression within a well-established dealership Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
Conducting vehicle health checks and diagnostics using the latest technology Performing routine servicing and repairs to a high standard Fitting additional accessories requested by customers Conducting pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles Assisting with minor mechanical and electrical repairs Carrying out road tests to ensure faults are resolved Completing all documentation accurately and professionally Supporting warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, or diagnostics Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and within a team Self-motivated with a strong focus on quality Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with some diagnostic experience (desirable) Brand-specific accreditation or EV expertise is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided Contact Liam Probert, Automotive Recruitment Specialist at Perfect Placement covering Newcastle and Tyne and Wear, today to discover more about this fantastic opportunity.
