Freelance Site Manager / Supervisor – Groundworks

SOS Group Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager / Supervisor to oversee a groundworks package on a live site.

This role will involve managing works within a fully operational treatment works environment, so previous experience on Water or Wastewater Treatment Works is highly desirable.

Scope of Works Includes:

* Installation of new service ducting

* Drainage works

* Construction of small concrete slabs

* General groundworks associated with infrastructure upgrades

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing day-to-day groundworks operations on site

* Managing subcontractors and site labour

* Coordinating works within a live STW environment

* Ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety standards

* Liaising with the principal contractor and site stakeholders

* Monitoring programme and reporting progress

* Ensuring quality and compliance across the package

Requirements:

* Proven experience supervising groundworks packages

* Experience working on Water / Wastewater Treatment Works (highly desirable)

* Strong understanding of H&S within live operational sites

* SMSTS or SSSTS

* CSCS Card (Gold/Black preferred)

* First Aid (preferred)

* Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
