Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Lincoln – Permanent – £50,000 - £70,000 Plus package + Car allowance

The role is for a senior quantity surveyor to support a regional main contractor based in Lincolnshire on new build and refurbishment projects across education, commercial, accommodation and local government buildings.

• Prepare, negotiate, and review tender and contract cost submissions.
• Track project commercial performance and provide updates to the commercial team.
• Produce monthly valuations for completed works and coordinate payment applications.
• Price, assess, and manage project variations from start to completion.
• Procure subcontractors and secure competitive subcontract quotations.
• Administer and manage subcontractor accounts, contracts, and payments.
• Support and oversee the final account process to optimise project financial outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project cash flow forecasts.
• Participate in pre-start meetings and regular project progress meetings.
• Provide guidance on contractual and legal matters to the project team.
• Assist in managing junior surveyors and provide coaching and guidance.

• Quantity Surveying degree or HND.
• Experience in new build housing.
• IT literate.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with JCT/NEC contracts.
• Desire to manage people.
