Pay Rate: £90-£115 per day

We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEND Child Support Worker to join a supportive provision rated 'Good' by Ofsted in Scunthorpe. This rewarding role will enable you to make a meaningful impact on children with a range of special educational needs, behavioural challenges, and difficulties in regulating emotions.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to KS3 and KS4 children with SEND.
• Help pupils access learning and participate fully in classroom activities.
• Support children with emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction.
• Use visual aids, structured routines, and sensory strategies to meet individual needs.
• Assist with personal care when required.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where children can build confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents.

• Experience supporting children in SEND settings, hospitals, schools, nurseries, or alternative provisions.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children.
• Confidence working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, or developmental delays.
• Understanding of the value of structure, clear communication, and consistency.
• Reliability, resilience, and commitment to helping children achieve their full potential.
• Openness to learning new skills and support strategies.
