In most cases, schools prefer to initially book Teaching Assistants on a short-term basis before committing to longer-term or permanent positions. This allows both the school and the candidate to ensure the right fit.

The RoleYou will:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs across a range of key stages
- Provide 1:1 and small group classroom support
- Assist with structured learning activities and individual education plans
- Support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to maintain a safe, purposeful environment
- Experience in SEN, education, childcare or care settings
- A calm, patient and consistent approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
- Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Clear pathway into long-term school roles
