In most cases, schools prefer to initially book Teaching Assistants on a short-term basis before committing to longer-term or permanent positions. This allows both the school and the candidate to ensure the right fit.

You will:

• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs across a range of key stages
• Provide 1:1 and small group classroom support
• Assist with structured learning activities and individual education plans
• Support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to maintain a safe, purposeful environment

• Experience in SEN, education, childcare or care settings
• A calm, patient and consistent approach
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
• Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
