GSL Education are currently recruiting for a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist setting in Scunthorpe supporting students with SEND and SEMH difficulties. This is a rewarding but challenging role, suited to a confident and resilient TA with strong behaviour management skills.

• Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

• Working closely with pupils who present with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs

• Providing 1:1 and small group support

• Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies

• Supporting teaching staff to create a structured, safe learning environment

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Has previous experience working within SEND and/or SEMH settings

• Is confident managing challenging behaviour

• Demonstrates resilience, patience and consistency

• Is committed to working full-time (Monday Friday)
