Overview

QTS SEND teacher for a friendly SEND school (teaching Secondary age students performing at a Primary level) in Scunthorpe. Are you a passionate and dedicated QTS teacher? Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you a Primary teacher who wants to try yourself at teaching SEND students? Are you a Secondary teacher who can teach the subject at simplified levels?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a full‑time teacher at a friendly SEND school in Scunthorpe. To make your life a little bit easier, all planning is done by school.

Position Details
  • Role: QTS Secondary SEND Teacher (will consider early career teachers)
  • Full‑time, Monday to Friday, Term time only
  • Start:
    Immediate
  • Location:

    Scunthorpe
  • Salary: (Apply online only) per day
  • Working hours:

    8.15‑16.00
  • Subjects:
    Maths, English, Science
Responsibilities
  • Teach a small group of children with varying levels of ability.
  • Work closely with dedicated class teaching assistants to ensure each child receives the support needed to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
  • Collaborate with the Primary, Secondary and SENCO team to develop a cohesive and challenging education programme and plan lessons.
  • Deliver engaging lessons and foster a positive learning environment through creativity, adaptability and strong communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant teaching qualification (valid UK QTS).
  • Experience working with primary and secondary school‑aged children.
  • Passion for education and commitment to the growth and development of pupils.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Experience in SEND/SEMH highly desirable.
