Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a part‑time, inspirational, and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant. If you have a background in childcare or are looking for work in education but have no previous experience, this could be the perfect role for you. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential.
The RoleAt this school, both children and teachers have high expectations of one another. The ideal candidate will possess strong behaviour management skills and a compassionate demeanour. You should be passionate about delivering excellent teaching and learning experiences, and be committed to ensuring that every child has the chance to learn and flourish. Requirements- Confidence to support delivery of the Read, Write & Inc Phonics scheme
- Valid driving licence
- Flexibility, reliability and adaptability
- Recent experience supporting children aged 5‑11
- Good understanding of how children learn and develop
- Experience working in a similar role
- Ideally previous experience working with children or young people, preferably within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting in the last two years and valid references obtainable from these roles
