Are you an experienced Electrical Installation professional with a passion for developing the next generation of skilled electricians?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-focused Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students to achieve their full potential while delivering outstanding teaching and learning across a range of Electrical Installation programmes. You will combine your technical expertise with innovative teaching methods to create engaging learning experiences that prepare learners for successful careers within the industry.

Whether you are an experienced lecturer or a skilled industry professional looking to move into teaching, we can support you in gaining a recognised teaching qualification if you do not already hold one.

We are currently looking for Two Electrical Installation Lecturers!

Essential Criteria
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of Electrical Installation programmes and industry practices.
  • Ability to deliver engaging learning experiences and motivate students to achieve their potential.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, with strong communication and team-working skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes.
  • Act as a Programme Tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to a designated caseload of students.
  • Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, maintaining accurate records and assessment information.
  • Develop innovative and engaging learning experiences using a range of teaching methodologies and learning technologies.
  • Embed English and Maths within vocational learning to support student success.
  • Build and maintain strong links with industry partners to enhance curriculum delivery and progression opportunities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement activities and student recruitment events including Open Days and information sessions.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment that supports student achievement and wellbeing.
