Key Stage 1 Teacher

Location: Scunthorpe

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Pay: From £145 per day

Reed Education are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and creating a positive classroom environment where children can thrive academically and socially. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all learners.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching or supporting within a KS1 classroom
• Experience delivering the Read Write Inc. (RWI) Phonics Scheme
• A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and effective strategies to support pupils with additional needs
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for helping children learn and succeed
