About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Railway Electrical Supervisor to join our growing Field and Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys working across multiple sites, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality electrical installations within the rail sector.

You'll play a key part in supporting nationwide rail projects, ensuring that electrical works relating to telecoms and radio systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to design, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of power supplies for telecoms, radio, and associated rail assets.

Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements, risks, and material needs.

Verify material orders and ensure all equipment is available, compliant, and ready for installation.

Maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and quality records.

Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with rail industry standards and company procedures.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to support smooth project delivery.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members where required.

About You

Background in electrical installation or supervision within the rail industry

Strong understanding of power systems, telecoms, or radio infrastructure.

Confident supervising teams and coordinating works across multiple sites.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Relevant electrical, supervisory and rail qualifications - PTS is essential
