A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Railway Electrical Supervisor to join our growing Field and Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys working across multiple sites, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality electrical installations within the rail sector.

You’ll play a key part in supporting nationwide rail projects, ensuring that electrical works relating to telecoms and radio systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to design, and industry standards.

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of power supplies for telecoms, radio, and associated rail assets.
• Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements, risks, and material needs.
• Verify material orders and ensure all equipment is available, compliant, and ready for installation.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and quality records.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with rail industry standards and company procedures.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to support smooth project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members where required.

• Background in electrical installation or supervision within the rail industry
• Strong understanding of power systems, telecoms, or radio infrastructure.
• Confident supervising teams and coordinating works across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Relevant electrical, supervisory and rail qualifications - PTS is essential

• Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience and skill level.
