Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a port/dock infrastructure scheme in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering complex marine and heavy civil works within a live port environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme

Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works on a live port/dock site

Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently

Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records

Carrying out site inspections and quality checks

Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site

Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with HSEQ requirements

Assisting with surveys and resolving technical and engineering issues

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

Experience on marine, port, dock, or heavy infrastructure schemes preferred

Strong setting out and surveying skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Valid CSCS card

Good communication and organisational skills
