Site Engineer

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a port/dock infrastructure scheme in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering complex marine and heavy civil works within a live port environment.

• Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme
• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works on a live port/dock site
• Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
• Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records
• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
• Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site
• Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with HSEQ requirements
• Assisting with surveys and resolving technical and engineering issues

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
• Experience on marine, port, dock, or heavy infrastructure schemes preferred
• Strong setting out and surveying skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Valid CSCS card
• Good communication and organisational skills
