Electrical Team Leader - Concast

Days

Lead craft work groups composed of internal employees and contractors, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.

Plan, supervise and execute daily electrical maintenance and improvement tasks, ensuring they are completed on time to support asset reliability.

Respond to arising breakdowns and adapt to new equipment as required.

Allocate to one of the four continuous casters within the Concast Plant (Caster 4, Billet, Slab and Caster
5) and work on a variety of electrical and engineering equipment including motors, drives, sensors, instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA/HMI, MCC (power centres), hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gas systems and water systems.

Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical trade, or completion of a recognised apprenticeship.

Experience of electrical maintenance and fault finding within a commercial or heavy engineering environment is desirable.

Must be flexible, have a desire to learn and develop, and the ability to adapt to new equipment.

Certificate evidence will be required.
