Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire – £40,000 – Monday to Friday, 05:30 – 13:30.

A Site Engineer will be responsible for all site machinery and engineering support, reporting directly to the Factory Manager and Head of Engineering. This sole engineering role is ideal for someone confident working alone while maintaining high engineering and safety standards across a busy production facility that produces a range of bakery and confectionery products, including pies, sausage rolls, brownies, and rocky road.

• Pastry production equipment – mixers, sieving units, pastry pressers, sheeters
• Assembly lines – pie formers, depositors, lidder machines, cutting systems
• Packing lines – carton erectors, metal detectors, weighers, case sealers, labellers
• Sweet production – chocolate melting units, mixers, sonic cutting systems, inline wrappers
• Supporting utilities – freezers, chillers, blast freezers, compressors

Manufacturing

• Strong multi‑skilled engineering experience (mechanical and electrical)
• Level 3 Engineering Qual or above
• Ability to work independently as a sole engineer on site

• Experience working as a sole engineer or in a small engineering team
• Strong preventative maintenance background

• Full autonomy in a sole engineering role
