- Up to £54,000 + excellent benefits We are delighted to be partnering with a forward-thinking and commercially driven organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a newly enhanced role within their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to step into a high-impact, business-facing position, where you will play a key role in shaping financial insight, influencing strategic decisions, and supporting the continued growth of a diverse group of trading entities.The
Opportunity Reporting to a senior finance leader, you will act as the finance lead across multiple operational businesses, providing robust financial reporting, insightful analysis, and trusted commercial guidance. This is far more than a traditional reporting role-you'll be:
- Partnering with operational teams to drive profitability and performance
- Providing clear, actionable financial insight to support decision-making
- Playing a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Supporting commercial bids, pricing, and contract performance
- Leading on process improvements and system enhancements
- You'll be embedded within the business, building strong relationships and ensuring finance is seen as a true value-adding partner.
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including insightful commentary and variance analysis
- Partner with operational stakeholders to understand performance drivers and improve outcomes
- Support strategic planning, including budgets, forecasts, and 5-year plans
- Provide financial input into tenders, pricing models, and new business opportunities
- Monitor contract performance, including profitability and work-in-progress
- Develop and enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting
- Produce cash flow forecasts and monitor financial health across the business
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and commercial awareness
- A qualified accountant, later stages PQ or strong qualified by experience
- Experienced in management accounting and financial analysis
- Confident communicating financial information to a non-finance audience
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Highly proficient in Excel and finance systems
