Job Summary

We seek to appoint Bank Sonographers to provide patient‑focused services as part of the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our expanding ultrasound service within the newly formed NHS Humber Health Partnership – the 12th largest acute and community provider in the NHS, serving over 1.5 million people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scan independently and report all studies undertaken across obstetric, abdominal, gynaecology, small parts, musculo‑skeletal and vascular services.
  • Work autonomously within purpose‑built units and dedicated GE ultrasound machines at the Obstetric Department, General Department and Community Diagnostic Centres.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team for complex cases and provide expert support to patient care.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or Post‑Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound.
  • State registration and a full UK driving licence.
  • Minimum 1 year of practical ultrasound experience in an established NHS ultrasound department.
  • Competency in abdominal, gynaecology, obstetrics, small parts and DVT scanning.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and HCPC registration.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  • Musculo‑skeletal ultrasound qualification.
  • Additional vascular qualification.
  • Valid driving licence.
