Pay Rate: Up to £17.99 per hour

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll be providing vital support to service users in care homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

Providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting patients with personal care and daily living activities.

Carrying out clinical tasks within your competency and monitor patient vital signs.

Provide immediate, confident leadership and guidance to junior care staff on shift.

Maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment, following infection control procedures, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

Ensuring accurate patient documentation and detailed shift handovers.

A minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years

Proven experience working as a Senior HCA or an experienced HCA ready to step up.

Registration:
Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC (not applicable in England).

Skills:

Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running.

Reliability, adaptability and a passion for high-standard patient care.
