IT Cyber Security Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

• We have knowledge of SOC operations and incident response.
• We have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• We monitor, triage, and respond to security incidents alongside SOC/MDR providers.
• We own patching processes across endpoints and servers.
• We coordinate vulnerability management and remediation activities.
• We support threat hunting and detection improvement initiatives.
• We contribute to audits, compliance, and security control implementation.

We are a well-established organisation undergoing a major cyber transformation, offering the opportunity to help defend critical IT and OT systems in a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, and comes with a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 plus training and development, a great pension, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, a health cash plan, EAP, and sick pay.

We work closely with internal teams and external SOC/MDR providers to strengthen our security posture, improve detection and response, and drive meaningful security improvements across the business.
