HGV Trailer Technician – Scunthorpe
Salary: £36-38,000 annual starting salary depending on experience.
Hours:
8:30am–5:00pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility on work hours. Benefits:

We are seeking a HGV Trailer Technician to join our client, one of Europe's leading transportation/logistics solutions companies, at their Scunthorpe location.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers, maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality.
- Accurately and efficiently complete all compliance documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE.
- Participate in ongoing product and industry training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW & SAF axle/brake training to continuously develop your expertise.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting tight deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Consistently uphold and demonstrate our client's values and behaviours.
• Qualified to at least an NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair with practical experience on trailers or tail lifts. Experience in EBS diagnostics, welding certifications, training or experience with axle manufacturers, or double deck/lifting deck maintenance is highly desirable but non‑essential. An HGV Class 1 driving licence is also highly desirable but non‑essential. You must be a committed individual, a good team player, able to produce high‑quality work in a busy environment, and motivated to work towards targets set for you and your team.
Benefits- Starting annual salary ~£36‑38,000 per annum, pending experience.
- 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (total 33 days off). You can buy up to 4 additional days, totalling 37 days of holiday per year.
