Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at one of our prestigious clients based in Scunthorpe. Due to continued success and development they have opportunities for Maintenance Technicians to join our fast-paced site in Scunthorpe!

About the role:

The overall focus of the role will be to work seamlessly as a team to not only maintain, but also improve the site equipment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will consist of both mechanical and electrical works, including maintenance and repairs to conveyors, fryers, bagging machinery, slicing and flavouring equipment. You’ll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance and offer insights surrounding reliability and continuous improvements to ensure optimum output is maintained.

Shifts:

4on 4off shift pattern – Two days, Two nights, 4 off (Apply online only)/(Apply online only))

The Pay:

Up to £50,000.00 per year (DOE)

What we’ll need from you:

A recognised Engineering qualification, whether that is an NVQ Level 3, BTEC, Time-Served Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent.

Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideally a food processing factory, but this isn’t essential.

Experience working with conveyors and packaging machinery. Experience working with fryers would be a huge advantage but isn’t essential.

Demonstrable experience in both electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
