Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £51,750

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating 12-hour days & nights

Staffforce Recruitment is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Scunthorpe.

• Planned preventive maintenance across site machinery
• Reactive maintenance and fast response to breakdowns
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Working on PLC-controlled and automated equipment
• Supporting continuous improvement projects
• Completing maintenance records on CMMS systems
• Equipment installations and repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with GMP standards
• Working closely with production and engineering teams

• Apprentice trained engineer
• Recognised electrical and mechanical qualifications
• Previous manufacturing or FMCG experience preferred
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working on automated machinery and production equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Flexible to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
