Job Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

Hourly Rate: £14.55 per hour

Experience:
Mandatory - must have proven drilling experience

Working Hours

Training period (first 12 weeks):
Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
After training:
Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 4:00pm

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Drilling Operative to join a busy steel warehouse team in Scunthorpe
. You will operate drilling machinery to process steel components safely and accurately, maintaining high quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Operate pillar drills and industrial drilling equipment
Drill holes and features into steel sections and plates
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Maintain safe working practices at all times
Carry out routine checks and report any issues
Support general warehouse duties when required

Mandatory Experience

To apply , you must have:

Proven experience operating drilling machinery in a steel or manufacturing environment
Ability to read engineering drawings
Strong health & safety awareness
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
