Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour

Temporary to Permanent (12-week temp-to-perm period)

Hours:

Full-time, rotating 3-shift pattern

06:00 - 14:00

8.00am
-16.00pm

14.00pm until 22.00pm

Overtime Rate:
Paid at 1.25x standard hourly rate (£16.71 per hour)

We are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Scunthorpe. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering regular hours, competitive pay and the chance to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week qualifying period.

• Safely operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks within warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Move raw materials, packaging and finished goods throughout the site.
• Supply production lines with materials to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure products are stored correctly and stock locations are maintained accurately.
• Conduct daily FLT safety checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with stock control, stock counts and inventory management.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Support warehouse and production teams as required.

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
• Previous FLT experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or logistics environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach to working rotating shifts.

• £13.37 per hour basic rate.
• Overtime paid at £16.71 per hour (1.25x basic rate).
• Weekly pay during temporary period.
• Opportunity to secure a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Candidates must be available to work all three shifts as part of the rotation schedule.
