General Operative, Manufacturing ​/ Production

The role of a General Operative is to produce Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) building products at our site in Tamworth. This isa hands-on role involves physical work, including heavy lifting, while maintaining high health and safety standards.

• Maintain health and safety awareness, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Work efficiently to meet manufacturing targets.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards.
• Keep the work environment clean, safe, and orderly.
• Demonstrate flexibility in daily tasks and responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with team members.
• Maintain a high level of motivation and attention to detail.

• Experience in GRP manufacturing or general manufacturing (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in operating machinery.

• Reliable and hardworking, with a positive approach to tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in work.
• Highly motivated, able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Good communication skills, supporting a collaborative team environment.
