What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing patient needs and helping to plan, deliver, and evaluate care that truly makes a difference.
- Carrying out delegated nursing duties independently, using your clinical skills and judgement.
- Working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team, building strong links with other professionals and agencies.
- Offering practical advice, reassurance, and education to patients and their carers.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join the Adult Community Nursing Team within North Lincolnshire Community Services on a bank basis. This is a flexible opportunity, with shifts available 7 days a week between 07:15 and 21:15, allowing you to work hours and days that suit you while supporting an essential service in the community. In this rewarding role, you’ll deliver District Nursing visits, providing high-quality, person‑centred care to patients in their own homes.
Every day brings variety, independence, and the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
- You’ll be caring, adaptable, and professional, with the confidence to work independently and the resilience to stay calm under pressure.
- Most importantly, you’ll share our passion for delivering compassionate care that helps people stay safe and well at home.
If you’re looking for flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to have a real impact in your community, we’d love to hear from you.
The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion. Made up of two Trusts – Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) – our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world‑class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.
Together we employ nearly 20 000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital, for NLAG, and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH. As teaching hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas – biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.
We believe that by developing a diverse, inclusive, innovative, skilled and caring workforce, we can deliver excellent care to our patients and a great future for our employees, our Partnership and our community.
