Overview

TypicalResponsibilities
- Manage robust, reliable, and consistent education quality processes as part of our group‑wide quality assurance team.
- Support the delivery of the effective implementation of the teaching and learning strategy, providing outstanding success for our learners.
- Support and manage quality compliance, including internal and external audits and inspections (such as Ofsted), to ensure strict control and assurance measures are in place.
- Ensure quality, compliance and consistency of all course delivery through review of lesson plans, observations, regular audit checks and reviews of course/learner paperwork, developing support sessions with all tutors as required.
- Lead quality audits, monitor progress, develop observation themes to inform our standardisation schedule.
- Own our quality calendar and cycle – coordinating tracking and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Analyse data, feedback and outcomes, preparing reports for Committee, Board and local authorities as required.
- Implement standards and activities to ensure ongoing improvement of our service, reporting on action against our annual Self‑Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan and accompanying targets.
- Support the Quality and Compliance Manager in maintaining our quality and achievement tracking and monitoring systems, preparing regular quality reports, highlighting current position and leading on actions identified.
- Work with teams to share best practice, develop improvements, and maintain strong outcomes.
- Work as part of the wider quality team to ensure all tasks are covered in line with timescales as required.
- Multi‑site working across multiple sites.
- Deliver exceptional teaching, learning, and assessment across assigned programmes.
- Lead curriculum development and ensure alignment with learner needs and accreditation standards.
- Oversee internal verification and support quality assurance processes.
- Mentor, coach and actively monitor Level1 and Level2 tutors against unit delivery.
- Monitor learner progress and implement strategies to raise achievement and attendance.
- Uphold and model high standards of safeguarding, professionalism and inclusion.
- Liaise with employers and external stakeholders to enhance vocational learning opportunities.
- Pursue ongoing CPD in your area of expertise to keep learning current and appropriate.
- Education to degree level or demonstrable relevant equivalent experience.
- Teaching qualification or relevant equivalent qualification with demonstrable teaching experience.
- Recognised industry qualification:
Qualified IQA Level4, or working towards Qualified Assessor (e.g., Level3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement). - Excellent knowledge and practical experience of managing Education contracts and Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF).

- Experience leading on quality development initiatives.
- Experience developing QIP action plans and delivering standardisation sessions to support.
- Experience organising enhancement activities to support learner achievement.
- Mentoring qualification.
- Ability to contribute to internal CPD and staff mentoring.
