Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter

Position: Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter (Permanent)
Our client is a nationwide plant & hire company and due to growth they now require Heavy Plant Field Service Engineers to work on their large variety of plant across the local region.

The Role

This is a field service role, you will carry out servicing and repairs on a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles.
You'll be supported with a company van, tools, iPad, and phone everything you need to carry out the works.
Servicing and repairing heavy plant machinery from FLTs and MEWPs to tower lights and heavy kit
Carrying out scheduled maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns
Working independently across different sites, while staying connected with the wider team
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

The Person

A good all-round knowledge of plant equipment
Candidates must have good experience in maintaining plant such as MEWPs, Tractor, Forklift, Compressors etc
Experience on Caterpillardumpers is of particular interest
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Someone who can work both on their own and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence is essential
