Position: Peer Coordinator (Criminal Justice Team)

Peer Coordinator - Criminal Justice Charity - Lincolnshire

Location:

Lincolnshire (community and prison settings)

Rate: £15.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract:

3 - 6 months (with potential for extension)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, Full-Time

Belmont Recruitment are working in partnership with a forward-thinking criminal justice charity in Lincolnshire to recruit a passionate and organised Peer Coordinator. This is a contract role focused on supporting and developing a team of Peer Mentors with lived experience to work across both community and custodial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train, and supervise Peer Mentors across the service
  • Provide 1:1 support and reflective supervision to peers, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared
  • Develop and deliver peer-led workshops, activities, and support sessions
  • Act as the main point of contact for peer involvement across the service
  • Collaborate with prisons, probation, drug & alcohol teams, and wider community partners
  • Help embed lived experience into service delivery and improvement
  • Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and report on progress and impact
Requirements:
  • Experience coordinating or supporting volunteers, peer mentors, or lived experience staff
  • A strong understanding of the criminal justice system and/or substance misuse recovery
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across both prisons and community locations
  • A trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to working with people
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
