7.5t Home Delivery Driver – Scunthorpe – £17.15 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) + overtime available

Flexible People Ltd is recruiting for a 7.5t Home Delivery Driver to join a well‑known client based in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful multinational organisation offering long‑term work, career progression, and excellent earning potential.

As a 7.5t Home Delivery Driver, you will work alongside a Drivers Mate to deliver large household goods to residential properties. The items you will deliver include TVs, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods, and other bulky products. You must be physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items.

The company provides a "room of choice" delivery service, and full training will be provided to ensure you can carry out deliveries safely and professionally. Following a successful application, all new drivers will complete a driving assessment, a multiple‑choice Highway Code and tachograph test, and a mandatory induction day before starting work. The client operates seven days a week, and you will be offered a weekly rota of either five or six shifts.

Weekend work is required as part of the role. Shifts begin at 6:00 am and typically last between 8 and 10 hours.

• £17.15 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
• Overtime paid at £22.19 per hour

• Deliver large household goods to residential properties alongside a Drivers Mate.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and follow company protocols.
• Physically lift and load heavy items safely.
• Participate in training, assessments, and induction as required.

• A valid UK 7.5t (Category C1) driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points.
• No driving convictions of the DD, DR, or IN types.
• Drug and alcohol testing may be carried out at any time at the client's discretion.

• Reliable, punctual, and well‑organised.
• Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy goods throughout the day.
• In possession of own steel‑toe safety boots and high‑visibility vest.
