People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Chesterfield
.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category C+E Driver, CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, Tramper Driver or Multi-Drop Driver
.

Shifts

Monday to Friday (Weekend work available)
AM start times between 04:00 - 08:00

Rates of Pay

£19.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday
£21.50 per hour
- Saturday
£23.00 per hour
- Sunday

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 1 Driver
, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Completing Class 1 multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
Operating Category C+E vehicles in line with company and DVSA regulations
Carrying out pre-and post-journey vehicle inspections
Ensuring all loads are secure prior to departure
Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and Digital Tachograph records
Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promp
