Class 1 HGV Drivers

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe are looking for Class 1 (C+E) drivers to work with a range of established customers across the Scunthorpe, Grimsby and surrounding areas.

We have a variety of assignments available, from individual shifts and holiday cover through to regular ongoing work
. Whether you're looking for five days a week, a few extra shifts, or something to fit around other commitments, we'd like to hear from you.

Because we work with a number of different customers, assignments can include:

• Curtain sider work
• Building materials and site deliveries
• General haulage
• Local and regional deliveries
• Day work and early starts
• Ongoing and ad-hoc assignments

If you have additional skills or experience - such as Moffett / truck-mounted forklift experience - please let us know, as this is particularly useful for some of our customers.

You'll need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good vehicle handling and reversing skills
• A professional and customer-focused approach
• Reliability and a willingness to work with different customers

Previous Class 1 experience is preferred, but we'd still encourage you to speak to us about your circumstances.

• Competitive rates of £15.30 - £18.07 per hour
