Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Transportation Support Person (2 - 2.5 hours/day) to assist with student transportation needs. This role ensures that our students depart school safely and on time while fostering a positive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with student dismissal, ensuring a smooth and safe process.
- Provide support to transportation staff and bus drivers, including communication and coordination with families.
- Monitor and supervise students during transportation transitions to ensure safety.
- Address transportation issues or behavior concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with school administration to implement transportation procedures and resolve challenges.
- Associates Degree
- Previous experience working with children, families, or in a transportation setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
- Commitment to student safety and well-being.
- Availability during key transportation times (mornings and afternoons).
- Be part of a supportive and dynamic school community.
