Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Engineer in Training certification required
• Ability to read and understand engineering and construction drawings, and standard specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and show close attention to detail
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and approachability in demeanor to work effectively with peers and clients
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work with strict and competing deadlines on an ongoing basis

Responsibilities:

• Design various HVAC system types (ventilation, air-conditioning, rooftop, and VRF), Plumbing (water, sanitary, and vent layouts), Fire Alarm, and Fire Protection systems under the guidance of the Project Manager
• Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects, to include conducting field inspections
• Provide input to technical decisions for discussion with team lead
• Participate in QC review with the expectation that comments are moderate and mostly pertain to intermediate level design concepts and contract details

Our Engineers travel locally to client sites and occasionally have overnight travel trips for projects.
