The PET/CT Technologist will operate scanning equipment to take diagnostic images of a patient's internal organs and tissue to determine how they are functioning. The technologist has a high level of knowledge in positron emission tomography and is dedicated to producing high quality, diagnostically accurate results in a manner that is safe and effective for the patient. Must be willing and flexible to provide back up support as needed to other routes within the region.

Route assignments are subject to change depending on business needs.

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to multi-task while maintaining great patient care as well as superior quality of exams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well independently.
• The ability to follow instructions in stressful environments.
• Superb bedside manner and the ability to work with a variety of personalities.
• PC proficiency to access job related internet websites, review on-line documentation and experience using Microsoft Office Suite products.

• Delaware state license required. Must be dual certified in nuclear medicine and diagnostic CT through (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• CPR certification required; all mandatory education is provided by the company.

To ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, the following vaccinations, titers, or declinations and health requirements are required this position:

• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• Varicella (Chickenpox)
• Hepatitis B series
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
• Annual Influenza vaccine
• COVID-19 vaccination, if required by facility policy
• Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines)

• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl
• Climb up and down stairs
• Push and pull wheelchairs
• Carry and lift with the ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or exam
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
