Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift

Not Specified. This position involves providing acute patient care in the ICU setting, with responsibilities including developing and evaluating individualized care plans, patient advocacy, and educating patients and families on self-care. The role requires technical nursing skills and the ability to utilize advanced equipment and technology.

  ICU RN responsible for continuous monitoring of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing ANA Standards and Nursing Process to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Certifications and
  
  Education:
  
  Must be licensed and currently registered as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency. Must hold an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 12 months of employment. NIH Stroke Scale Certification will be obtained during orientation.

  Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Licensed and registered as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency, with American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of 2 years' experience as an ICU RN preferred.
• Additional Information:
  Call-Off Policy allows cancellation or call-off up to 12 hours before scheduled shift. Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training. Employment is expected to include working weekends and occasional overtime.
