We are accepting applications for Emergency Supply Secondary Teachers at AMDSB Secondary Schools.

The AMDSB is currently seeking Secondary (Grades 9-12) Emergency Teacher Candidates to fill in for the daily absences of classroom teachers. Emergency Teacher Candidates are notified on the day of the vacancy.
Requirements- Teacher Candidates in Year 1-4 of a Concurrent Education Program and/or teachers in receipt of TPP pension;
- As we are an English board, oral and written English proficiency is required;
- Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within six months);
- Emergency Teachers must be available for half or single day occasional teacher coverage on last minute notice;
- Proven ability to maintain discipline in the classroom (classroom management);
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment;
- Experience working with G‑Suite (Gmail, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) products.
