Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the day‑to‑day HR function for our growing organization. This role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, safety and workers’ compensation, payroll administration, benefits support, compliance, training, and HR reporting. The HR Manager serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees while helping ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Location: Seagoville, Texas (Onsite)
Reports To: Owner/CEO Travel: Minimal (up to 10%)

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment efforts for hourly, salaried, and leadership positions.
  • Partner with management to develop workforce plans and staffing strategies.
  • Manage job postings, candidate screening, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions, organizational charts, and hiring processes.
  • Ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience.

Employee Relations & Leadership Support

  • Build strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Support conflict resolution, coaching, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Lead employee onboarding, offboarding, and exit interview processes.
  • Assist with employee engagement and organizational development initiatives.

Safety & Workers' Compensation

  • Administer company safety programs and OSHA compliance initiatives.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims, reporting, and return‑to‑work processes.
  • Coordinate safety training and certification programs.
  • Promote a culture of workplace safety and accountability.

Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration

  • Process and administer payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Manage timekeeping, attendance tracking, and PTO administration.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including medical insurance and COBRA.
  • Maintain personnel records and HR compliance documentation.
  • Develop HR metrics, reports, and dashboards to support business decisions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience recruiting and retaining employees in a high‑volume workforce environment.
  • Payroll administration experience, preferably using ADP.
