The hours of work are 09:30 to 5pm, Monday to Friday and the role is due to run through until November 2026, with a chance to extend.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a wide and varied range of administrative support, assisting with the provision of an effective and efficient support service to the Housing Solutions team.
Specifically, the post holder will provide housing advice to members of the public who make enquiries regarding selective licensing and to landlords requiring assistance with the selective licensing process, ensuring legislation within Part 3 of the Housing Act 2004 is correctly followed
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
· Undertake a wide range of administrative duties in relation to administration and general support to the Housing service, which includes regular handling of sensitive information.
· Dealing with telephone and email queries, production of correspondence, providing cover for colleagues.
· Assist with administration workflows of selective licence applications.
· Dealing with and sign posting customers, providing and self-help information.
· To provide advice and support to residents with landlord or private tenant complaints
· Provide support to the private sector team in the delivery of legislation under Part 3 of the Housing Act 2004.
· To support landlords to make selective licence applications.
