Site Manager

Site Manager MOD / Civil Engineering Projects Located Near Frome, Somerset A well-established and highly respected main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to deliver a multi-building scheme on a live MOD base near Frome. The project will involve the construction of 3 new buildings alongside associated infrastructure and external works, therefore previous MOD and civil engineering experience is highly desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality defence, commercial and specialist construction projects across the South.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of site operations on a live MOD environment Coordinating subcontractors, labour and materials on site Managing health & safety, RAMS and site compliance Overseeing civils, groundworks and building packages Monitoring programme and ensuring works are delivered to deadlines Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders Maintaining quality standards throughout all phases of construction Site reporting, progress meetings and record keeping Requirements:
Previous Site Management experience within construction or civil engineering MOD / defence project experience highly advantageous Strong civils and groundworks background preferred SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to manage works within live and secure environments Whats on
