Job Description

The business is currently seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to take responsibility for overseeing all manufacturing activity during night shifts. The successful candidate will be expected to manage shift resources, ensure KPIs are met, and maintain compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

The Production Shift Supervisor will coordinate the output of production lines, handle operational troubleshooting, and work cross-functionally with planning, warehouse, engineering, and quality teams. This position blends hands-on shop floor leadership with key management responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing process efficiency with team oversight.

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, ideally food or FMCG
  • Strong understanding of production KPIs, health & safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • The ability to lead and motivate teams, manage performance, and maintain morale
  • Effective communication skills for shift handovers and cross-department collaboration
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
  • Good IT literacy and ability to analyse reports and performance metrics
  • Willingness to undertake training in food safety and people management (if not already held)
