We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Seaham, Durham. This is a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, including weekends, with a minimum of 12 hours across 3 days per week.

• 16‑20 = £10.95 per hour
• 21+ = £12.81 per hour

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, assisting with packing and leaving a good impression with a thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, placing products into freezers and shelves ready for customers to buy
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• Flexible with shifts, willing to cover for teammates when needed; rota planned three weeks in advance
