Deputy Manager – Seaham
Salary £28,038p.a. + bonus potential up to £2k p.a. (subject to meeting pre‑agreed measures). Supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations, team management, store standards, stock management and delivering excellent customer service to our pet parents.

- Support the Store Manager day‑to‑day and take full responsibility for all aspects of running a successful store in their absence, managing people, financial performance, store standards and customer service.
- Lead by example, creating an excellent culture and working environment for your team, demonstrating our values of being Genuine, Wise, Eager, Focused, Together.
- Ensure you and your team deliver exceptional customer service, providing a great shopping experience and demonstrating strong pet and product knowledge (training given).
- Deliver the highest standards of pet care and ensure the welfare of pets is a top priority, promoting responsible pet ownership.
- Passion for pets and people; delight customers by ensuring an unrivalled shopping experience.
- Previous retail management experience, having deputised for a Store Manager and managed the business daily.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills and ability to build high‑performing, engaged teams.
- Proven track record in developing business performance and exceeding KPIs while maintaining high store standards including health & safety and legal compliance.
