Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment has a great opportunity of an experienced transport planner based the North East.
The role primarily is Monday - Friday. Typical shifts are 08.00 - 17:00.
Key Duties- Plan and manage loads to agreed KPI levels
- Ensure planned work is achievable with road transport directive and EU drivers rules & regulations
- Liaise with customers and depots to ensure all targets and deliveries are met and to ensure that the scheduling of work is accurate and up to date on traffic management system
- Ensure that vehicle management, including liaison with fleet workshop wheel security, and monitoring of vehicle gross weights is undertaken and compliant
- Ensure that all administrative tasks associated with the operation are completed to the required standard as well as dealing with daily operational problems
As well as the above a CPC qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
